Thumbs up

Hey all - I received my Diablosport Predator today and I installed the "Performance Tune". I started thinking if I should wait until I have the 1000 miles on it before I use the tune. Any suggestions?

Well that sounds like a good idea! When did you install your SCT?

Well, I would wait until you have some miles on it. Just to make sure you don't have that one in a thousand (or whatever the actual percentage is) bad engine that gives you problems after a few hundred miles. Remember, the dealers can detect the reflash. When they do, your warranty claim could potentially be denied.

It probably isn't necessary, but you never know...

don't be a puss, break it in, and really break it in....It's not gonna die after 10,000 miles.
I beat the he.ll out of mine tonight w/ 6,000 miles, 12 1/4 mile passes, that adds up to 3 miles of absolute abusive powershifting, redlining torture....didn't break mine in by Ford Standards either....what's the point, it's a Mustang? Have fun while you can, before the wife makes you sell it!!!!

I agree. Break it in hard. BUT, break it in with everything stock. After a few thousand miles of severe beating, then go ahead and go mod crazy. That's my plan at least.
