Should I replace my Steeda Ultralites when I get DSpecs

I've had the Steed Ultralite springs on my car now for at least 32,000 miles. I want to move over to DSpecs because my car is starting to ride like a truck. Should I replace the springs when I get the DSpecs or rock them a little longer? How long should I expect the Ultralites to last in the first place?

Unless the ultralites start to sag (car start to sit lower), they are good indefinitely. Their stiffness will not change.

Just slap on the D-Spec's and go.

How do you like the ride of the Steeda Ultralites? I sit to soft? Came you do some lite road racing with them? How much did they really drop the car? Steeda states 1" front, 1 1/4" rear. Is that right on?

When I first put them on they weren't bad at all. However, I think the stock shocks are about done with 42k on the car. That is why I'm switching over to D-Specs. I'd say the drop is about 1 inch or so when they have settled.

Well the stock shocks and struts are too light anyway for the higher rate springs you installed., not to mention the lower ride height.

like radboss said, unless you are unhappy with your current ride height and would like to go lower, your ultra lites will be fine.

Cool, I just wasn't sure the wear and tear of 35k miles on them was a little much and they should be replaced as well.

To piggy back on this thread (hope you don't mind) , I've got Roush rear springs and stock fronts. If I get Dspecs, should I put in front Roush springs, and how much do they drop the front, or go with new/different brand springs all around?

I think its more of a personal preference?
I decided to stick with the roush ones since I already had the rears.
I would recommend tho to replace the fronts since they will be out anyway.
And the roush is a mild drop.

iirc the roush original front springs drop is 3/4". the extreme springs are 1". i would think you should put your springs in. personally i like the look of the drop with the eibach pro-kits better than my ultralites, but i have never scraped my front bumper yet (knock on wood). even on the craziest looking driveways where i was sure i would scrape. also, i can still barely clear those cement stops in the parking stalls. i think it is a fair trade-off.
