I see that buyfordracing has the complete set of front and rear shocks & struts for the Shelby KR for $179.99. I wonder how much an improvement they would be on an 07 GT?

 

Remember the Shelby weighs in a bunch more in the front end than our GT's because of the 5.4 and supercharger. Sam Stano made a post in my "best springs for an 05 Vert" that the Shelby front springs have about a 40 lb. higher spring rate the the GT's. You need to consider that.

 

I was talking about the shocks/struts only, not the springs

 

I would think the front struts would be valved to dampen the extra weight also. May be pretty stiff feeling on a GT.

I don't mean to threadjack, but I found some Saleen shocks for a reaaaaaally cheap price for the pair for both the front and rear. They're black with a Saleen sticker on them, so are they Ford oem just rebadged as Saleen or an actual Saleen product?
