Shaftmaster's 3.5 inch driveshaft, good, bad?
Anyone have any first hand expirience with this d/s? Someone local is selling one for $375 with only 3 weeks of use. Seems to be a really nice one piece design. Anyone have any clearance, rubbing, etc issues?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have the Shaftmaster one-piece and like it. No issuses so far. I have only gotten upto 90mph so far though.
One clearance issue is with the Saleen short shift adaptor. It will hit the shaft. But I replaced the stock shifter and adaptor with a billet Hurst and have not clearance issues.

I have the 3.5" and like it..... I've debated selling it too though, and putting the money into other things. Since I'm blown, something like a smaller pulley and return or longtube headers would give me more benefit compared to the driveshaft. Shaftmasters makes a great product though IMO.

I had the 3.5 in with adaptor plate installed back in April in my 05 GT 5sp. No issues went in smooth with NO vibrations up to 110 MPH.I'd recommend their drive shafts.Plus I'm lowered in the rear 1" with Rousch springs and no change to the stock pinion angle. Good product good service.

Did Shaftmasters due away w/ the 3.5" ?
I only see the 4" on the web site??
http://shaftmasters.com/mustang-alum...iveshafts.html
I was leaning towards the 3.5" because I really did not want to chance clearance issues or hammering out the under sside of my car
I was also looking at the DynaTech 3.5", but it is $730 and I really don't want to pull the pinion nut.
Thanks

I think they disco'ed it because at the time everyone was in love with the modified Ranger shaft aka Spydershaft and they weren't having much luck in selling them.
