hey guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that the low cost version of the flash tool from SCT isn't available new anymore. I went to place a stock order this morning and found this out.

The X-2 which is what I sell 50:1 when compared to the X-1 is still available.

Just passing along this information.

Thanks, Doug.

No, actually it's the second, about a year ago they used to have the blue MicroTuner's but when they truly split from Superchips Inc. they discontinued those and came out with the X-calibrator 1's.

The X-cal 1's were just something to get them by until they could release the X-2's, they were the only company to have two seperate tuners as Diablo only has the Predator and I think this is why they've dropped the X-1's. Really though since the intro of the X-2's in June I've sold about 10 X-1's and well over 200 X-2's so I dont think they will be that missed.

They will still be supported for a while though as I can still load programs into the old Micro Tuner so you wont be pushed out into the cold.

Thanks, Doug.

Good luck getting a dealer to help you with this. I had to sell mine on e-bay and this was 6 months after I purchased my X2. I did have the selling point of allowing the next customer a discount on a tune from my tuner Ken Bjonnes at Modular Depot as compared to normal tunes, Ken did this knowing I needed help getting rid of the X1. Luckily I sold the tuner to a guy who ordered a MMR intake and I still had a tune loaded for that plus long tubes. The long tubes portion of the tune didn't need to be changed even for a car with stock manifolds. I sold my X1 for 2 bills, at least I got something.
