I am really on the fence here. I have magnaflow catbacks, a k & n air filter, and the HC trap removed from my ride. I plan on adding an air filter DOWN the road. But for these minor mods that I have now, is a tune really necessary? I don't want to shell out $300+ and put in 93 octane if a tune doesn't do much for me. Can someone PLEASE list the advantages of getting an SCT Tuner for minor mods???

necessary? No. Optimal? YES

You may actually be losing both power and efficiency with your current mods and no tune. Search around if you doubt, there are tons of posts in this section that will address your exact questions...
