I want to get the sct flash tuner. I thought you bought it pre loaded with a program and then you just hook it up and hit some buttons. Some of the stuff I have read sounds like you need to have a professinal hook up to dyno etc and figure out a tune. What's it like?

It is very easy to install and comes with 2 or 3 tunes installed depending where you buy it from. They will ask you about your mods done to your car so they can supply you with the best tune. It takes about 5 minutes to install the first time and switching back and forth between tunes after that only takes a minute or two. You can go to a tuner and get a custom tune which will be more specific to your vehicle if you like, it's your option. Also available to you is the Diablo tuner which is basically the same with tunes installed with the exception that you can customize a little more with the hand held unit like RPM, shift points, and such.
