Saleen Watts Link
, hopefully the new brace resolves that. I am still concerned about axle windup putting alot of stress on the watts link parts, so I am replacing the LCA and UCA's which come with urethane and I am even doing the axle housing bushing. I was considering doing the Griggs track arm, except the welding required was unattractive and would require some mod to the Saleen cover or track arm bracket. Still may do it in the future, it should almost eliminate windup and provide much better traction in addition to reducing stress on the watts. You'd think Saleen would have something like this......
I have a question: if the saleen Watts doesn't have adjustable arms, just non-adjustables that bolt and pivot to the new cover, what happens when you have your car lowered and the rear end shifted to one side? since the arms are not adjustable (but they pivot off of the center of the rear end) would they still center the rear end back to where stock used to be?
I was looking at the lakewood watts for sale in our for sale section, but after seeing the pics of the broken one in this thread I've lost interest.
Well, the question remains! Are the non-adjustable arms from the Saleen Watts capable of re-centering the car correctly if it's dropped (say with an eibach pro series)?

In a watts link, the body will be centered (within the limitations of that watts link design) regardless of suspension drop. The adjustable arms on some designs are to reach the ideal watts setup--rotor vertical and both arms perfectly level.
The Saleen design is a cost/packaging compromise.
What a compromise at a grand for cost! but in any case, I might sell my BMR adjustable panhard and panhard support (and some of my wife's stuff too) to get a Saleen Watts.
Got a little scared with the pictures of the broken lakewood watts at only 6 months.
Anybody here capable of getting it for less than a grand? Anybody works for Saleen or a Saleen dealer?

The Saleen Watts Link setup is what I'm gonna be ordering really soon here.
I'm not completely sold on using the one that comes with the kit, but we'll see what happens when I get it.
It's a good kit, no doubt about it.

I have had my Saleen watts link for 2 years now, No problems. Putting 457hp to the ground thru it. It's not cheap but it works. No wheel hop and handles great. check out www.miracerros.com/mustang/t_suspension to see how the watts link and pan hard bar work.

I personally have given up on the watts link for the moment. If my regular street driving can break the lakewood design. I am not sold on how my more aggressive driving day might be on the other designs. At least with the adjustable pan hard. I have a few less points to worry about breaking. That being said. People should know that I am extremely rough on things I own. An excellent example is my computer keyboards. If I get 6 months out of them. I am extremely lucky.

Dont have personal experiance with the Lakewood setup, but I have heard the same thing - least desirable of the systems on the market.
I have Saleen's Watts link on the ROUSH. I love it from streets to canyons you'll notice a difference. A friend of mine went with the Fays Watts link on his V6 because their differential is smaller than our GT's

I know it saved my butt on last years Tour De Orange cruise (New Years Day), ask PJ George. I think if I didn't have it I would have clipped the guard rail when I did that 90 degree maneuver
