Back from the dead!

After a few hundred miles, poke your head under the car and check to make sure the nut is still secured and everything else looks okay. If that nut gets loose or falls off, you'll know it. It may not be a bad idea to get a spare one.

I actually thought about getting another backup nut, I think I'll do that.. You wouldn't happen to know what size that nut is? I figured if anyone knows it would be you..

Nope, sorry. I do believe that nut has an internal lock in it to help prevent it from backing out. Maybe the Dealer parts dept can help track it down.

Well I purchased one of these and tried to install it. I had previously installed a FPP one piece aluminum drive shaft that is larger around than the stock unit. It sticks down too far and wont shift. So I'm removing it here in a minute. One good thing is I turned around the little angle on the shift arm to it's toward me now. Also previously i installed the AMP bronze shifter bushing set, made a little difference. I tried.
