It is a screw type blower, it is not made by Whipple.
Saleen builds up their S/C kits. Check out the Speedlab room if you are in Irvine,CA.

I don't know exactly who wrote this attached article, but it appears Saleen does a bit of their own design and it is intercooled. Not that they didn't just take a whipple, reverse engineer it and slap on a Saleen tag, but I would look into getting one. The Series VI sells for $4999 from Cody at Saleen, who I taked to on Wednesday. He says they plan on shipping in mid-March. The kit includes everything you need, including the powerflash.

He said that no other modifications should have to be made (including the hood) and it should make the '05 throw out well over 400hp. I asked for the specs and he is supposedly sending them.
I am new to this and do not claim to have any knowledge, so PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. I have just been researching which, if any, would be the best SC for my new '05, assuming it gets here before the '06 is available.

Did anyone catch at the bottom of the page from the link where Saleen says you can get this with an "Auto" tranny? I would love to do this but I know the auto will not handle that much power with out some strengthening?

Charlie, I think you're ok pushing up to 8psi w/o having to reqork the motor... after that, you're looking at pistons.
for the others asking about power gains, a screw type blower at 8 psi on a 300 hp engine should produce about 475 hp at the crank. I'm thinkin' these will put down over 400 on the ground.
