I know what you mean... I've been hinting around in some of the other threads on here that I might take the trip and get a set of their FI cams installed at some point. Have to wait a while though, my wife will disable me if I talk about any more $$$ in the car right now!!

Al, I'm getting closer man. I know the wife will allow it, or I should say live with it, but I think I'll wait till it a little cooler in the fall. Man it gets hot and humid here. So very close! Maybe I'll look into that shaker saleen except I'll need a new hood because I installed the Rouch scoop on this one. I wonder if Brent will carry them and hence put his knowledge into his own tune for them.

Thanks Dean, I'm really happy with how it came out. Have to say though, it's off the road right now because I need to get the prothane motor mounts shaved down. It's awfully tight in there now!!!

That's great news Gary, I'm sure you'll love it!!! I'm in the same boat. I actually steered away from the CDC shaker because of the factory hood scoop on the 07. Right before I got the Saleen I was looking into the fiberglass Saleen heat extractor hood. If it turns out they get the supershaker working with that hood, I may still go in that direction...

Hey Al, I see you still have your UDPs listed in your mods, you didn\'t leave that on when you put the SC on did you? Just checking....

And any plans on hitting the track for a time slip to help keep us mod junkies buzzed for one more day?

You think they will do an \'Intervention\' show on a mod junkie?
Hi. My name is Dean. And I have an addiction............

Sorry guys, been SUPER busy with family stuff. OK so here's the long and short of it.. First off, absolutely spot-on tune from Brenspeed. I couldn't be happier. It's nice because I can have like 1/3 throttle for keeping her sane. The area I live in has alot of kids around and I wanted to be sure I wouldn't be scaring them all the time. Go past 1/3 throttle though... WOW. I know the 4.10s aren't helping, but I am breaking the tires loose everywhere. Where I really see the difference though is at the top end. (I know, 4.6L with cams that don't really wake up until you get near 3000 rpms, why does that suprise me lol). I was coming home from a show last week, riging on the parkway, when a Mercedes decided that me doing 80 wasn't fast enough. I wasn;t looking for a race, but the right lane was packed so I had no where to go. Still, he rode my a$$. Once I was able to pull to the right, he passed me. At this point I was a little aggravated, so I pulled up behind him. Didn't ride him close, but waited for a break in the right lane again so I could pull up along side. Of course, I get the bird flung at me... and he speeds up. OK, time to play right??? I'm at about 90 now, and put it to the floor. It pulled my neck back and the car felt like it was coming out from under me!!! Before I know it, I was watching the mercedes disappear in my rear view, and the speedo said 125!!! I couldn't get over how much pull she had! I can only imagine the smile on my face.

So now that you know my feelings on the blower, I'll end by saying I am completely addicted and already plan to move up to the Stage 3 (Corvette Killer) package Brenspeed offers as my major winter mod!!!

That's awesome Al. Oh I can't wait. It's killing me. I'm so happy to hear that Brent's tune is spot on after you've driven it for a while. Thanks for the response man and keep slaying those imports.
