Saleen Big Brake Kit(Stoptech) Installed

Like the thread says, and yes before I get the "Worthless without pics" I will get them up soon....when I get the cam going again.

Just wanted to say though that these brakes are great ! The install was also fairly simple. I did it on Jack stands. The Stoptech kit was easy to setup, and even the bleed was all to simple with the way these brakes are. The rotors are HUGE. I never realize just how much bigger they were over our stock ones, as well as the calipers. The steel lines were also a snap to install and pedal feel is truly different.

If anyone is on the fence about upgrading to one of these kits, jump on over. Its truly worth it. Exp if you did a power upgrade. I will try to get my pics in soon.

Thanx. Got lucky with my setup, as they are black with Gray lettering. The same colour scheme as my car. All I need to now is the rear's..the red covers need to go !

No pics no care! I wish I had jumped on a set when they flooded the market a while back during the liquidation sale

Pics

Ok I added some pics now

Installed.

Oh yeah !

My private parking space @ work (nobody else parks on this side..to far from the door! )

As you see I have the red covers on the back brakes. Need to hit Ebay for those covers that look like Brembo's and such...Have to match after all I would try to paint, But I think after I take em off, the surface were the glue was would not hold up. So meh, I will just get some black ones, already done.

Saleeen's look awesome! Not liking caliper covers though, just clean them up and paint them.

Do like the parking spot, I also park waaaaay away from anyone, walk is worth it

Hmmm I have heard that painting them do not hold up well....I did not think about that route though...maybe I'll give it a whirl...

G2 is the best brake paint kit out there, held up great on mine.... I actually need to do it again due to wanting a color change (have silver & black mix, just going all black) in hopes of getting either Saleens or Brembo's up front which are black.
