Is it safe to use Seafoam in the oil crankcase?

The product says it's safe to use but I'm still a little nervous about doing it.

Anyone tried it?

Alot of people swear by the stuff, but I wouldn't think in your case its needed in the crankcase just yet or any Mustang that has been well taken care of. IMO just the the fuel system and intake tract cleaning part would be the most relavent.

I use it in the Fuel on my Classic's. And Techron, again in the Fuel, on my newer rides. BUT I would NEVER add anything additive to the Crankcase. JMHO

I just found seafoam(Canada). I put it in my high mileage chev 5.3 engine,in my mustang and every vehicle I can get my hands on. My mechanic swears by it and was getting it imported til it finally hit the shelves. Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. If you use synthetic oil you dont need to add to crankcase due to synthetics cleaning ability but it isn't going to hurt if you follow the directions

I've put it in the crankcase of my 96 Cobra once, and we did it in my friends 77 F-150 as well. Both times we added about 1/3-1/2 a can about 10 miles before we changed the oil on them.
