Looks like you're kinda leaning towards the Whipple anyway, in which case I doubt the K&N will work.

For the best performance gain you'll want a larger MAF, although it is possible to run an S/C on the smaller stock one. Again, get it dyno tuned.

The only S/C that you would be able to use the K&N with would be the Saleen. Anything else you would get another intake system with anyway.

And like WaltM said, sell the K&N and use that money towards the S/C.

Well, I'll be darned. For some reason I didn't think Saleen was still selling the "bare-bones" kit that uses the stock MAF and airbox. I thought all the kits now came with the 90mm MAF.

His has a K/N style filter, maybe even actually made by K/N. But the CAI is produced by Western Motor Sports.
