Ok guys little critique pleas on my slips. I am car #36 these are my 3 best times , if you clik on the pic it gets larger.

Shifty

vs. 04 vette- Bad launch it looks like
vs. cobra- another bad launch it seems
vs. import- good launch but looks like you missed a shift

What altitude are you racing at and are those your mods in your sig? Also how are you launching the car?

I would say you are right on all counts. Now how do I fix that. I really launched at lower RPMs. When I went to about 5500 and dumped I spun like a madman. Those are my mods and I added MT ET radials last night. I really think I should be down in the 13s but I am a dummy off the line it seems. And I have to let off the pedal going into 2nd or the gears grind if my RPMs are too high, and yes I use the clutch pedal.

In all seriousness though, it looks like you were messing up your launches somehow. Either you didn't burn out enough or you didn't break them in enough yet. You should be able to launch at 6500 with stock gears if the tires are warm enough.

I could never burn out, my size 15 feet don't offer me much foot coordination on the pedals. That's why I got line locks.

LOL yes it was packed full of ZEXYNESS!!! I dont get it I just read another guy with this car he calls Ruby bone stock and he ran a 13.95 standard tranny and had a 2. something 60 ft time.. Man I am serious need of a coach!!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img]

oh wow you did use zex? my car stock auto ran 14.01, my 60ft's werent great either too

I notice the autos have better times than me. I think it has more to do with my launch and then at what time I get into 3rd. Also I dont engage the ZEX until 3rd because I dont have a stage controller yet. Once I get that installed I think I will improve some, and I have a real grind when I am on the gas in 1st and hit 2nd, I have to let up before I hit 2nd or I grind gears. I have seen stock autos get into the 13s. I feel like I am driving a V6 against you guys. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/worship.gif[/img]

Are you getting wheel hop? You might need some lower control arms from BMR. Even with wheel hop you should be getting atleast low 13's with that zex. Are your jets in backwards or something? Something is way off if your running nitrous and running 14's in a GT. I ran 13.9 bone stock with a manual and I'm a noob driver. I also ran 13.2 with just exaust/tune.

Nope no more Wheel hop. I put in BMR LCAs and it sticks now. You know I should double check the jets. I mean I know when I hit the ZEX it goes faster and my Dyno runs showed almost 75 HP right on the nose. So I dont know. I really think it is my poor driving. i mean I cant seem to get a smooth shift into 2nd. All my fans in the stands say as soon as I hit 2nd it takes off like a rocket, but that until then I look really lurchy?!?!? [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]
