Running aftermarket intake untuned shortly, question!

Well I'm going to install my tunable induction intake on for about a 100 mile trip to SGS auto in PA to get tuned. Will the car's a/f readings be safe for the trip up there (obviously not going to be getting on it at all).

Why don't you simply take it with you and install it there. It will only take like 20 minutes or so.

I agree with Richard. Just install it in the parking lot. It will only take about 20 minutes, and that is if you don't know what you are doing.

I have a TI intake... I tried it without the tune just for kicks prior to loading mine up. The car barely ran, you would never make it!

You could take it to Tillman Speed too! I'll install for free with dyno tune!

I think Richard has the better idea to take it with you and install it on arrival.
