I bet it was something like minor wiring harness changes as there were some differences from '05 to '06 but the same kit worked. There were notes in the install instructions that showed the differences. I know my fancy homemade P/S reservoir re-location bracket will only work on '05/'06, for anyone wanting to incorporate the GT500 degas bottle as I am. Ford did away with a large part of the strut tower inner flange on the '07 and up to make room for assembly line installation of the 5.4 4V behemoth presumably. Pics to follow when my box from Kevin arrives...

Here are some when I was test fitting it. The hoses are just laying on top, so just ignore them for now. They hide very nicely under the wires on the left side of the fuse box (looking at the engine from the front). I constructed it from 1/16" T6 aluminum, and had it powder coated gloss black to match the one on the opposite side of the engine. I also designed the shape of it to match the character of the other aforementioned bracket. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It took a long time to find a good spot because there isn't much room to work with. The GT500 degas tank mounts in the original spot using the same fastener that the P/S reservoir did. The P/S reservoir is super light, so hopefully the aluminum will be robust enough to hold its weight, and the bottom is partially supported by the smaller hose braced against the strut tower (the rubber hose - not the clamp spot). BTW, I had to slide the A/C metal filler line as far forward as it would go to help provide clearance but luckily there was room for just that. Here's a bonus pic of my powder coated cam covers as well.
