Rotating assembly
Ok guys need help... I'm hitting the 487rwhp mark... The guy I get tunes from says I'm a ticking bomb b4 I break something... More likely a connector rod... Is this true? If so what kit should I get? I have a Procharger pushing 10psi innercooled, with a cryokit... I'm wanting more power... But it's also a d/d so i need it dependable... So what pistons do y'all suggest? Should i build mine or buy a forged short block? As always thanks for the help

Well thats around the 550hp mark, it probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade to a forged short block. You will defintely save money getting a built short block vs. getting a rotating kit and having yours rebuilt (then again that can be fun if you like pouring over catalogs and specing stuf fout yourself).
If your going through that trouble though, why dont you consider building another engine entirely with whatever goodies you dont have or would like to add (cams, ported heads, intake - whatever) Get it ready and either run the current engine till it pukes its guts or swap when your ready.

If you're having it built it will cost around the same.
If you're interested I have my stock 4.6 for sale... full longblock with heads etc.
You could build it and not have downtime of pulling your motor.
