I removed it on my mineral grey to replace it with a billet grill. Wasn't hard at all to take the factory grill off it just snaps into place. To remove it just pull on it.

I couldn't find that particular part in the service manual, but I used a mirror to see how it was attached. The upper tabs have a lip that catch. The lower tabs are straight and just keep the uppers pushed upwards. Ismael is correct though. You can pull out on the bottom, not to far or you'll snap them off. I went to get mine painted and the moron painted the entire thing. I bought another one for like $28 and started to tape it off. It was a real pita, so I just put the new black one on.

John, did you paint your's yourself or have it done. I'm curious as to the tape off job. I was being to **** about mine and was trying to tape off every single part of the grated portion. PITA!

BIG PITA!!! Solution, don't do it. Paint it ALL body color, then tape off everything EXCEPT the hcomb portions, and then spray those black. A friend of mine works at a bodyshop and is a pro, he did it, I helped. You'll never be able to just tape off the hcomb portions without getting some of the paint to blow through. After you've sprayed the whole thing, just make your tapeline over top of the ridges of the honeycomb. That's the only way to get good results.
