Jet throttle body spacer - who painted?

Anyone gone ahead and painted their TB spacer yet???.....

And if so what did you use?....

Good question. When mine gets here (hopefully this week) I'm going to lightly sand the outside and spray it with some high-temp semi-gloss black paint to match my MMR intake tube. I'll tape over the openings in the spacer so the spirals don't get painted. Might be a good idea to keep those as smooth as possible to for increased airflow.

I happened to have the high temp stuff anyway, but that's true... you shouldn't need it. Krylon should do the trick. I'd lightly sand it first though and scuff it up so it takes the paint real good.

hmm....paint it? it looks good on the car blue if you got the C&L intake because their sleeve that holds it on is blue. But knowing you can paint it is cool. might have to paint it black now...Thanks for the idea

Yeah... I might have.... you know..... caved and bought one....... alluva sudden.......

:bang:

...crap... another $100 into the black PIT.......

(Although if it really does affect that lag at all, I think I will be happy.....least till the bill arrives..)
