Turned out great...but Saleen's installation instruction are WRONG. If you install the way the instructions tell you 1st, 3rd, and 5th gears are nearly impossible to shift into.

Can the OEM shifter be reverted back to stock, if after modifying for the Saleen parts are done, it's not liked?

I just installed my Hurst a week ago and I love it. Like others have said, it is like night and day compared to the stock shifter. After using the Hurst, the stock shifter would feel like a wet noodle. The only annoying thing about the Hurst is it rattles at WOT. Anyone else have that rattling?

Not that it is your fault, but the B&M design for the 2005 Mustang GT is pretty bad. I know they make excellent products, but this one needs a redesign.
The shifter does not take into consideration the tranny movement when the car is under acceleration or braking. So when this occurs, you can hear the shifter base plate rubbing against the studs in the floorpan.
They should redesign it so that the plate can allow movement since the car has a remote gear change design and the baseplate CANNOT stay hard mounted to the floorpan. There is a similar problem with the Steeda Tri-Ax
