Rear clunking Noise question

When I slow down and the car goes into 1st. gear I sometimes get a clunking noise and the car will slightly feel as though it wants to lunge slighly forward. It feels as though it's coming form the rear drive train, but not real sure. It dosen't happen everytime, and only happens when in dirve and the car down shifts automatcally. Anyone exprience this ?

Yup I get the same thing and it has happened pretty much from day one.

I've never really looked into it but just figure its that 3 piece drive shaft sloppin around.

It is usually worse on hot days when the A/C has been going. Don't know why that would make a differece thats just when it seems to happen.

I do have a "tune" that has changed shift pressure and shift points so it could have somethign to do with it also
