It has 2000 miles on it now so I took it to a test & tune today at Santa Pod raceway

http://www.santapod.co.uk/index.php

The first was a 13.72 @ 100.66 followed by this one

60 ft 1.96

1/8 8.74 @ 80.20

1/4 13.59 @ 101.29

I was well pleased with this, the car is still bone stock. Previous best being a 13.98 @ 100. CAI & tune next............

It was 73, cloudy & felt humid. And the usual headwind!

It has rained everyday this week but we were lucky today, last week we had a mini heatwave 88-90!

Nice runs ukfiveo
I wish I could have done as well when I went to the track the other night.
My best was a 14.7@96mph :notnice: I was getting either bog or wheel hop, plus I missed 3rd gear once! The temp when I was running was 90+ degrees and 85%+ humidity. Lots of guys were griping about their cars weren't running as good as normal.
What type of launch technique were you using?

Thanks Jeff,

The track had been prepared & was pretty sticky, on the first run I slipped the clutch & it ran a 2.01 60 ft but I could smell the burnt clutch in the car after launching. For the next one I let it in quickly & smoothly at around 3500 rpm & it just hooked & went. Shift points were around 6k & I crossed the line in 3rd just as it hit the limiter.

It certainly impressed a few people at the track!
