Race tune on a daily driver?
Just last week got the CAI on and tuned the car for the first time (05 GT auto). This car is my daily driver- is it safe to leave the race tune on it all the time? Can anyone think of any reason for me to not want to do that?

I just received my Sct Tuner approximately 3 weeks ago. First let me say, I love it and best mod for the money. I have a 2011 v6 and had A.M. make a 87 street, 91 performance and 91 race tune. Since I have installed the tune I have tried all three. I like the 91 performance the best. For me, im not racing and taking it to the track. With the race rune you will find your rpm's are always up higher which is important if you want to race on street or 1/4 mile track. I just found it annoying when I pulled out my garage and going 15 miles per hour down my development road I was pumping 2,500 rpm's. Not for my style but for others it may be their bag. I highly recommend the performance setting for daily driving and if your not racing. Just my opinion. Hope this helps

Running the93 race tune for over a year now and no problems you will be fine.. on a side note come time for inspection if you have emission laws use the street tune a month beforeI because the race tune blocks certain sensors and you wont be able to pass...

I'm not using the o2 jumper harness. My tuner turns the rear o2s off.
