 Hi all...a little confused on the rev limit things. On the new r22 (predator) you can raise shift points in all gears...then there is the rev limit 1 ,Rev limit 2,Rev limit 3. What is the difference between the 1-2,2-3, 3-4 thing and these? Thanks!

The shift point is where you want the auto tranny to actually change gears... for example at 6000 rpm. The rev limiter should be set higher, such as 6500rpm. If the rpms hit that limit, the engine basically will starve itself to prevent over-revving.
Of course, if the shifter is set on "D"... the rev limiter won't become an issue, because it will shift before it gets there. But, it comes in handy if you have it set to a specific gear (like in 1st or 2nd for a burnout), because it won't shift then, and the rev limiter will protect you from hurting the motor.

I thought I answered that in my first response. Shift points and rev limters are two different things. Set your 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shift points to where you want the tranny to shift (mine are at 6200rpm). Set the rev limiter higher than that rpm level so you don't over rev the motor (mine is at 6500).
