This is way to $%&#ing loud.
ahahah... that's what I said about the open headers! But, if it wasn't for the trumpets, I would have my X-pipe and LMs on right now! (and I'm not young... hehe). I really hope this prochamber kills trumpets... I want my LOUD back, dangit!!

EDIT: dangit????

Man, now I want to take my cats and mufflers off just to be louder than my sister's bf's truck

It sounds like (haha sounds) the O/R H-pipe is the way to go. Hopefully the flows can keep things under control a little bit.

...
Too bad I can't take the mid pipe off in the driveway and start it up with just headers for a min. 0:-)

Well tonight my friend(Read I did all the work basically myself) put on SLP loudmouths on his hooker header/xpipe combo and my only complaint is its VERY VERY loud. Anything over 2.5k rpm is insane and I would have to be trying to get highway speeds with a cop around. For pure coolness factor it gets a 10! One problem is the exhaust tips dont line up right with the bumper, the drivers side is an inch higher then the passenger...

Well, I love it, except for the trumpets... they are whats TOO loud. I like the volume and sound, except for them. So we must find a way to kill it!

I am making a thread with videos about my install.

There are a lot of mufflers out there that we have not tested but so many are the same in design. Also a big part of sound is the customer in general. I talk to a ton of people every day. Each person has his own opinion on sound. I have said it before and can say it again. What one guys loves the next guy hates. Be carefull when you hear somebody says it sounds loud, is not loud, smooth, poppy, etc... I can sell the exact same thing to 10 guys and hear different descriptions from each of them.

I might try some more mufflers sooner than later if time permits.

I have always wanted to hear what flowmaster a/t's sound like with hooker supercomp headers. Could you possibly test that exhaust combo in the future?
