pypes mid muffler system

I just got done installing the pypes mid muffler system. The passenger side muffler sits very close to the fuel tank. Its not touching the fuel tank but has a finger gap between the two. Should I be worried about the muffler melting the fuel tank?

lol, no. But you should check your install, there shouldn't be a difference in the way each side hangs.

mine are pretty close to the tank although mine is custom. They have been on for 6 months or so no issue yet. knock on wood. The tanks are pretty strong plastic and the mufflers do get hot but probably no where near hot enough to melt the tank. But I agree check your work most of those kits are pretty even side to side unless they staggered the mufflers to cut down on drone.
