Today I spoke at some length as to the release date and any possible info about the Procharger system and its performance as well as options. I was pleased to hear that there are 3 new mustangs that have had the system installed and are performing well with 6-8psi and putting 430rwhp down and are "way safe" according to MC Racing. There was a prospect of mid April for the release date as some testing remains that is currently underway with the destruction of the new 4.6 to see how much boost it takes to make it blow. I was also told that the kit will be released requiring 42# injectors because anything smaller would be too lean. Procharger includes the Predator with the purchase but it can be deleted and use of the X-calibrator is possible and would most likely yield more horsepower in the end due to fine tuning on a dyno at their shop in Overland Park/KC area per MC Racing. I did discuss pros and cons of this supercharger vs the Kenne Bell and Whipple and my original suspicions were confirmed that poor customer service from the twin screw supercharger distributers has been scetchy at times as I have experienced personally. Power is great from the twin screws but can be difficult to harness to the ground early in the RPMs as the centrifugal type builds power with RPM. Not looking to discredit any manufacturer, just trying to sift through the facts as I learn them. I have noticed several companies offering to sell the Procharger intercooled system from $4200.00 up to $4900.00 for kits they don't even stock yet. Procharger reports themselves that pricing and release date is not set yet, MC Racing informed me they most likely could beat these advertised prices but is awaiting final pricing. Looks like it I won't have a supercharger in time for WFC8 but hopefully by the Mid America Performance Ford and Shelby Meet in Tulsa OK for the road course and drag strip.

Derek,
Thanks for the update. I've been watching the progress on all the superchargers so any new info is welcomed.

dhof303,
I heard the same info. My performance show has one on "pre order" from them for my ride.
