Does anyone know how the shift points are supposed to work on the Predator tuner with an automatic? Under modify parameters it has 1-2 shift point, 2-3 shift point and 3-4 shift point. When you go into these there is a scale from -20 to +20 and you move the arrow to where you want it. I am assuming if you were to move the arrow to +20 the shift point would increase by 20 MPH on whatever shift point you were working with. However I cannot see any difference at all in where the car shifts.

Thanks

After you changed the shift points, did you reflash the PCM so the changes take affect?

Your signature states you have the Steeda Predator. Which software revision is in your Predator? There were some issues with early software not applying the changes.

It is version 8 R21. Wonder if I should apply chgs to all three shift points listed. I just did the 1-2 and 2-3 points before.

Don't bother, the shift points by MPH doesn't do anything. When they first came out, it was the only option, then update R12 introduced shift points by RPM. Those work, but only apply to WOT.

When I had a Predator, I set the WOT shift points to 6200. Seemed to work much better.
