IRMC delete plates might be helpful in the S/C catagory.

I am going with the Saleen SC, and I plan on using my CAI. Because of it's TB location, virtually all CAIs should work. Other things that won't become obsolete: rear gears, electric water pump, suspension upgrades, etc.

Can you say long tube headers? If you are going to help air/fuel get in then you shouldn't be stingy with helping it get out.

If you go with the Roushcharger (which I have decided on as well) or the Saleen for that matter, the charge motion delete plates are not needed since they are removed for the superchager manifold install. Pulleys are out too since you will need the factory crank one for the blower. The Roush kit comes with a new air filter also, so if you go that route you don't need a CAI unless you just want one as the Roush kit uses the stock air box and in the stock location. TB and exhaust are pretty much it, oh and CNC ported heads of course - can't forget those...

godspeed,

There are two aluminum blocks under the plastic intake (one on each side) with butterfly valves in them. These are the Charge Motion plates. The butteryfly valves and their shafts create a little bit of an impediment to air flow, I think it's Fords was of controlling the air speed to increase low end torque or something. Not really sure how it works, but the valves are controlled by the computer I think. The "charge motion plates" they're talking about above are new blocks without the valves, allowing a cleaner flow of air with no restrictions. I think they go for about $200 for the pair. It's either Saleen or Steeda that makes them, not sure.
