Question Please Advise: Need Reliable Paxton/Vortech Selection

Hey all, here's the deal; I have an 06 with a bunch of standard breathing mods done, namely; lightly ported heads (SHM), CMC delete, long tube headers, high flow cats, and cold air. All this adds up to approx 350-360 crank hp (depending on tune). Now it's time for a power adder. I've decided on an intercooled Paxton. So what's the problem you ask? The problem is I don't want to make too much power for the stock block/drivetrain. I want to be able to indefinitely hot lap on a roadrace track without blowing up... I'm concerned that the HO Paxton SC with the 50-70 extra HP I can expect thanks to my breathing mods will be to much. What I'm considering is buying the High Output kit (with intercooler, fuel pump, etc) but substituting the smaller low output supercharger. Is this a good choice? Or am I nuts, will the full high output system work fine even with my other upgrades and under the harsh demands of road course hot lapping? Also keep in mind I only have access to 91 octane.

Thanks for any (good) advice!
