I got a chance to buy a set of takeoff GT charcoal bullits with the Pirelli PZero Nero tires. The tires have 24,000 miles on them so I'm not really sure its a good deal. His price is pretty much the same as what I could buy them new online, but I want to see if it's worth it to try and talk him down on the price.

Thanks in advance.
I got 42K out of my first set which I never rotated. The fronts still had anther 10k or so left in 'em . . . . the rears were slicks .

I have over 55K on my stock 17 inch Pirellis. I'm pretty easy on tires and keep them rotated. I'm sure I have at least another 10K before they will need to be replaced.

I bought new takeoffs complete with bullet wheels for 450. Machine alum ones for 25 each but they had about fifteen thousand on them. Look around and post a WTB ad.

Just bought a new set after finding them for $76 each at tirerack.com. Had 40K on originals and only had to replace one of them due to a blowout at 20K. I still had tread and probably could have gone another 10K.

I have 8/32 tread all around at 24,000 miles. I believe they come with 11/32 brand new.

I have 7/32 in. tread left on mine with 25K miles on them. They are off the car though due to the new 18x8.5 Fanblades and BFGoodrich 235/50/18s put on in October. KWDS Goodriches don't wear quite as well as the Pirellis did but they felt a whole lot better in the rain and snow this year.
