Need some help.. In a pickle

I was removing my throttle body today...
And I started unscrewing the 2 screws to the left of the throttle body housing itself to remove a wiring harness that is attached to it. Its held on by 2 torx screws and naturally i snapped off not one but both of them... luckily i was able to unscrew one of them by locking a a pair of pliers on the screw shaft and twisting it out.. the other one however snapped flush and there is no way to get it out...
my question is what does that wiring harness to the left control (i'm guess its the TPS sensor)and what are the chances that i can just put it back on and have it hold good with only one screw?

thanks in advance

You should be okay but I would want to get this fixed and not just forget about it if it was my car.

Take it to a quality machine shop....they should be able to get it out....don't try it yourself unless you have the right tools. Those screws have loctite on them and are very soft....once you start turning them out, they heat up and snap real easy....been there, done that....
oh yeah....it's another reason to leave the TB alone....

what if i put it back on with 1 screw and epoxy the other side of it?

Boy if it was me I'd want it fixed and held on by a screw again.....
My machine shop had the broken piece out in no time.

yea i know what u mean...

but i'm thinkin that a 2part epoxy is just as strong as a screw ... especially holding together a part that doesnt move much...

ugh ill prolly have it drilled out...

should i get the new screws from ford or get better ones from like home depot or something?

Broken Screw

Yea, the epoxy will hold it, but it won't clamp it, so you could get an air leak. Get it fixed right.
