A-pilar Gauges... Who has put them in a vert car?

Looking for some info on A-pilar gauges. I've contacted Autometer about every six months for the past year and a half about when they will release the A-pilar gauge (double or tripple) for the 05-07 Convertible. Still no dice.
I don't like the peel and stick CDC version and I don't like the Saleen because I'd have to put holes in my dash pad. In one of the articles in 5.0 magazine they show a guy with a Roush car and a dual gauge pod that appears to just fasten to the stock A-pilar.

Does anyone know if there are any A-pilar gauges out there yet or another company that may make a bolt on version that keeps the stock A-pilar cover?

I would suggest checking out the Speed of Sound website (www.speedofsoundllc.com). I just got their A-pillar two gauge pod - they don't have one for 3 gauges. It completely replaces your stock A-pillar and matches exactly. In fact, it has the Ford logo on it so I think they may get them from them and then then add the two guage pods.

CORRECTION:; Link I gave you is coming up with a radio station. Their phone number is : 901-751-8683. I think I got the site by a search for gauges. Cost is $120 + shipping

Alan makes a killer product, and you will not find better customer service anywhere. Only thing is, he has just reciently released the vert A Pillar and the demand is pretty high. So you might have a small wait on the part. But don't let that discourage you.

LOL... they're not that unique anymore. Dozens and dozens of us have them. The coupe versions have been available since late last year I think, and the verts have been out for a couple months. And the guy who runs SOS, Alan, is a class act and is committed to provided a top quality product. He is a regular member at modularfords.com.

There are also a lot of pics of various pods in this thread:

Now I just need to figure out which gauges I want to put in there.... Oil Temp, A/F, Water temp, Oil pres. , Fuel press.....
I want all of them but I have to choose. Most don't know but the factory gauges are mostly and on/off switch. The only time they move is when the computer see's a number outside the parameters set up...

If you want a 3 mount, you can go with CDC dash mount. I have decided on the SOS for my Temp and Oil Press. WHEN I get a S/C I will put the A/F, Boost and Fuel Pressure on the dash gauge CDC unit.

Glad we could help. IMO thats the best thing about this site - alot of folks willing to help other members. With the exception of changing my axlebacks, I am real satisfied with my mods which is largely due to the info and help from TMS.

The only problem with the dash mount pods, is that none of them look as good as the SOS pillar pod. Everyone I've seen looks tacked on, and not very "factory-like". So, I took a different route, and put two of my Nexus gauges right in the center dash panel (plus two in the SOS pillar pod).

How difficult is it to install the sending units for Nexus Fuel and Oil pressure gauges?
