This guy came right at the end of the show. I heard this thing coming from pretty far away. The whine was ridiculous. Anyway, it was Mineral Gray and it had the Steeda Cowl Hood, Steeda Competition Wing and 17" Black Bullitts. This thing was bad!!! Thanks to whoever you are, a Wyotech Student from Castro Valley!!

I would dump the wing too , but awesome nonetheless..I guess I will need to post some pics of mine since my car is getting the vortech installed this week for the Big Shelby american cobra/mustang show this 4th of july weekend..My car will be featured in the Vortech booth...

 

Completely agree on dumping the wing, but I bet that is faster than heck, what do you guys think that the vortech jumps the HP from 300 to? What about 0-60 times?

I was there but wasnt impressed much at all. Once I found out it was a Vortech I pretty much turned my back and walked away to find out that I didnt even take 3rd place. Oh well.

The wing was too much, the Xenon scoops were also.

But the car was bad IMO. I really liked the scoops. I had not seen one set of Side Scoops that I liked until I sam these. The Window Louvers would have been a little better IMO with a slot towards the back as well.

If I actually hung out with my car even a little bit we would have probably chatted. I did notice yours there just because of your avatar. I was there mostly for supporting my friend's Lightning ( which he won 1st place for in the pack of 4 total :P ). He, Marc, told me of the show like 2 days ago so I decided to borrow what he had left of his caliper paint and get to work. It took me those 2 days to just get the car cleaned too.

Did you by chance check out the "band aids" I had on the hood from my missing pin set?

Were you actually entered for the show since you showed up late?

Which Lightning. Was it that one with the custom graphics and insane stereo system?? That thing was bad.

I didn't see the band aids. I know your hood was up and I saw where you drilled the holes. Were the bandaids on the top of the hood. I hope they weren't stolen. I'm sorry but I didn't look to much at your car. I wish I paid attention to the drop.

Just curious. What does your license plate mean?

 

The plates stand for (S)ick '(N) (T)wisted MODS, the same kind of "mods" you guys do. Its been a user name for me for years and was the name of my company at one time too.

The Lightning was the one who won 1st in the trucks group. The truck with all the actual paint work and stereo mods was the Harley (won best of show). The lightning did have some graphics and a DVD stereo system but it wasnt nearly as awesome as the Harley's.

The pins didnt get stolen, I took em off before the show because they had rusted on the screws and the pins. I just put masking tape on the hood to cover the holes. I just ordered the FRPP as my replacement set and they get here on the 2nd so I'll have hood pins again at that time.
