Here are a few pics of the new motor built by Boss 330 Racing. The damper in the pic is stock. The ATI damper should show up tomorrow as well as the tie in plates for the motor mounts. The motor will be in by the weekend and then taken down for the turbo install at Billet Design.

I can see a smile on your face. It has been a while for sure.
I wonder how Bryan is doing with his motor.

I am excited! It seems like its been a years since I ran my car. Going to the track to watch and hang with friends doesn't help any either. Jan, I'll let you know when it's getting dynoed and tuned since you're around the corner.

That is so Sweet! What did they do to the Valve/Cam covers to make them so nice? Looks way better than the stock castings. How much boost will this motor support with pump gas? What compression did you use? Thanks for any/all info.

You better believe the motor will be fully installed by the weekend! I will be burning the midnight oil. How do you think I feel George? It's killing me!
He was going to bead blast the covers, but 2 things...They aren't aluminum and the baffles inside are riveted. No way to get all the sand out 100%. He used a scotch brite pad and cleaned them, then painted. I'm not sure what kind of paint or if it was a powdercoat.
I forget the exact compression, but I do know it's about 2 tenths less than factory compression (whatever that is-I don't recall either). Not sure on how much boost...whatever is necessary to haul booty! The motor was built to handle 1000 hp, upto 9000 rpm (give or take a few )
I won't be revealing exactly how much it cost me to have this motor built.
1. Out of respect to Boss 330 Racing
2. Everyone will have their own objective or goals. What I had done to this motor won't be for everyone, so it's not an apple for apple comparison.
3. The best way to get a price is to call Boss 330 Racing, tell him what you want, and he'll give you a price.

So you going to run it up to 9000 rpm? Your turbo would be really really happy

Haha, so ~$13k...

Looks incredible and I'm sure the numbers will match.

I know Al does perfect work...But I can't afford perfection, so I wonder if Ford will sell the GT500 motor as a crate engine...

Anyway, congrats.

No, I don't think he's going to spin it to 9k, but the motor would be safe if he did. I think thats what he's getting at.
