No problem...It's only the 10th time I've explained it. J/K. I guess everyone thinks you could be driving down the road and hit that button and it'll sling you around or something.
The most I would worry about is something/someone pressing the button and then trying to apply the brakes. You'd still have the rear breaks, but would be applying brake pressure to the other side of the solenoid. Not sure if that could damage them or what. I doubt it though...
When my wife saw the button, she said asked what the heck the button was for. Then she said, "No more buttons!"

 

Did you feel as if you lost some low end torque with the steeda tune?I finaly got the predator tuned right for my CAI and 93 Tune.Still seems that under 3000 rpm it was more powerfull stock.
Hope you removed your front stabilizer link.Car launches great with that off and all the other mods you have.

What does the front stabilizer link do and how would removing them help my launch? Please don't respond with stabilizes the front end. When I launch, the front suspension is fully extended/loaded as is. I may pick up the front end if I do much more. How cool would that be! Then again, I'd just be breaking stuff probably. I have pictures with my suspension fully extended and the tires barely entact with the asphalt.

 

leaving it on will counteract your transfering of weight to the rear end.Remove the front swaybar and watch your 60ft times drop.The car will not handle cornering to much with it off so be carefull on the street without it.The front end is going to lift considerably.Post 60fts after test.Also add 90/10 front drag shocks.

 

I used to run A BuickGrandNational that i got down to 11.5s at 116 with 1.55 60fts.Also tuned on my best freinds 8.60 159 quickstreet Camaro.Just got the mustang and my to get list is getting bigger.dont want to waist money and time with the small HP gains.going right for the whipple supercharger, then work around that.

Now that looks like a pretty good idea. The red would probably freak her out even more though. One of her co-workers went to get something out of the car today. She went back to my wife and said, "I pushed that little button next to the shifter. What is it?" I then went into explaination mode to tell her how it works. She isn't worried about it at all. I'm going to see if that switch cover comes in black. It can't hurt anything to have it.

Just so everyone knows.RT (reation time) means nothing, unless your bracket racing.You could wait all day at the christmas tree lights after they turn green and still run your number.1/4 mile doesnt start till the front wheels of your car brake the strating light beam.So be comfortable on the line and launch when you are ready.Dont be concerned about leaving right at instant green.Unless your realy trying to beat the other guy.You will get your best numbers working on your cars leave(60 ft time)distance you travel from that first beam to the 60 ft beam.

 

I am bracket racing. I saw this same post over in the post mods thread. Who mentioned R/T? I've been cutting .000-.013 R/T's. It makes my 1/4 mile faster.

I removed my front stabilizer today.It comes off so easy that i will leave it on for street and off at the track.

 

I took the front stabilizer off tonight as well. 6 nuts is all. I can't tell if it helped any. I was wondering if the front tires were coming up or not. It sortof felt like it. The only problem was it was unusually cold tonight, so I was hooking great, but couldn't isolate changes and improvements.

About the automatic. Yes it works great on automatic. You shift from 1st to 2nd and hold it there on slicks until the tires smoke good and then roll out......
