Why the varible cam timing delete??? I have never heard of that being a bad feature on any motor. Race or otherwise.

If you are trying to build an all out race motor, I wouldn't want the VCT on it myself.
1) It introduces another part to break/wear out.
2) In a bracket racing motor, consistency is key, and the VCT could be inconsistent in high HP motors.
3) It might not work very well with such drastically modified heads/cams/valves/etc...

The GT500 Motors are coming along. We're building two.

First Motor is the Stock GT500 Motor with Upgraded Rods, Pistons, P&P Heads and Cams, which will have the 2.8H Kenne Bell on it pushing 28lbs of boost.

The second motor is a Ford GT Aluminum Block, with a custom crank, pistons, rods, P&P Heads, and cams fully built with a custom Twin turbo setup.

Both motors are being built by Boss 330 Racing

We (Evolution Performance, Inc.) are fabricating the Twin Turbo Kit.

The GT500 Race car will debut at WFC 10 May 17th in Indiana

We fabricated it out of Aluminum, put coils in it and wrapped insulation around it.

It goes where the battery would normally go!
