Thumbs up Paxton 2200 Supercharger Installed!!!

Well here it is short and sweet. Got the car back about a week ago fro ST Motorsports but haven't really been able to drive it since I have been out of town. Everything installed was-polished paxton 2200 intercooled supercharger, gt500 fuel pumps, HTO Plugs gapped to .035, 39lb injectors, sos dual pod with autometer cobalt wideband and boost gauges and BMR billet lower control arms. You know whats funny is the first thing I noticed when we took it for the test drive was how different the suspension felt. I wasn't paying attention to it because I was focused on the superchartger but I noticed as we went through the gears the car was planted to the ground and it felt SMOOTHER. With just the eibach prokit, steeda pro action shocks/struts and my JLT/ tune the car would NOT hook up in first gear and would bounce all over the place when going over rough roads. Now with the added 100+ hp and the LCA's it just hooks and not only that it feels, I guess the word i'm look for is softer, or not as harsh! I would say the LCA's are my most favorite mod next to the Supercharger!

Now for the Supercharger. I don't know about you guys out there with centri's that say you can't hear the blower but this one is pretty loud and I love it! When going through the gears even at normal speeds shifting at 2.5k-3k,( I don't know if it's sucking in air or pushing it out) but all I can hear is the air being moved around, and the little whistle sound on top of that. It sounds just like this car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5BLo...eature=related but I can really hear it form inside the car. It's pretty dam cool!!! Adam at ST tuned it to exactly what I wanted. 432 RWHP. Thats the magic number for me!!! He said my car made pretty good compression compared to most cars he has seen, I was happy about that. The timing was 16deg. I don't remember that torque numbers but i will find out. If anybody has any questions just halla!!!

Edit- Oh yeah hear are some pics...

-Adam

My engine is dirty... I know

It does get a little bright in here at night!

Heres the parts in the boxes. I know who cares about boxes but I took a pick anyway . I was too lazy to take all the parts out then put them all back in .

Heres my license plate to match my new found power

Don't copy or recreate

If you don't mind my asking (PM me if you wish) what did Adam at ST Motorsports charge you for the install?

I just watched that youtube video, and that guy's bypass valves sound like BoVs on a turbo. Does it sound like that on your setup?

I have been in two turbo'd cars before and this blower sounds pretty dam close to a turbo. Yeah I have the same setup as the one in the vid so it sounds just like that. You can definently hear the bypass valve when driving

That is a **** good blower! It is barely breathing right now at 432rwhp. Good luck in the near future, when the bug bites again and you will want to step up the boost for more power. That 2200 will run all day at 18#s without a hiccup. Make sure you have a shortblock savings plan setup, cause the bug will bite you eventually!

Thats sweet, does the vortech sound like that too? I think i fell in love with the 2200 simply because of that sound and the bypass valve

432 is plenty hp for me right now, but I have already been talking to Adam about the 500RWHP mark
