Pass.side Airbag Light going off and on.
#1
I have noticed that when I am cruising around with a passenger, That my Pass. Airbag light keeps going on and off.Am I missing something here? Or is that not normal?

That's not normal. Is your passenger on the light side? My sister is about 100 lbs. and it doesn't turn on for her. Maybe whoever sits there is on the border of this sensor...Do they list their butts off the chair?
If not, I suggest you get it checked out.

My wife will put some of here paperwork in the seat and it'll turn off the airbags.

My wife's 105 and I have the same problem. It's the generation 2 (or maybe 3 :scratch airbags that are very 'smart'. I too wish that it'd remain on all the time, but I've found that if she sits squarely in the seat the light will remain off (and the bag on). It's normal, and is most likely the best situation.

I tried to get a decent photo of my two savages in the car, which only resulted in lots of me saying "NO", "DON'T TOUCH THAT", and "THAT IS NOT A HANDLE!" I did notice my youngest caused the ABS light to blink on and off while he was crawling around in the seat.

Same deal in my '05 GT and my '04 F-150. My 100# girlfriend gets mixed results. When the "air bag off" light comes on, we go for pizza. You know, for safety reasons.

I have been having the same problem with mine. Wife is about 130 and light will intermittently flash on and off. Kind of scares her to be truthful.
I have to take it in and have them look at the rear end again, I'll tell them to check it out.
Is there a way to permanently turn the passenger airbag on? I dont know about you all, but I will be a monkey's uncle before I let a baby seat get strapped into my baby.
