Is the light supposed to stay on when no one is in the front passenger seat? The manual states it should, but mine never has. Anyone else?

It's smart enough to determine if someone/something's in the front seat. If no one's there, the light won't come on, because you don't need to be warned. However, if someone's sitting there and the computer determines that the passenger could be injured by the bag, it won't deploy and the light will come on. It looks at factors such as seatbelt usage, seat position, and passenger weight.
