I ordered the gt500 brake kit from Tousley ford. When I open the package there is only one dust shield and that dust shield is bent at the corner tip. The whole packaging was awful, for such a heavy box, they did not put foam protecting for other parts. One of the caliper is has a nick on the back. There are no instructions, except for the ss brake lines. The rear brake pads, look horrible inside the plastic bag. They look used but i don't know.

What should I do? I can't call Tousley ford until tomorrow because they are closed. The whole packaging is horrible, I don't know if any of the other parts are damaged.

 

Call them tomorrow and see what they will do for you, that's about all you can do. It's up to them to make it right.

I had the same problem, but I find out the dust shield were on top of each other they look like one but look closelly there are 2 of them.

 

Dang really? I better go home and check. I'm sure it's only one. I inspected it very carefully for the damage. Does the brake kit come in 2 boxes or 1? I called tousley ford the other day. They said to take some pictures and they would make a claim. Now I have to wait for god knows how long. The kit is already charged on my credit card and I have to pay the bill soon, Yet I have no brake kit. That's whack.
