One chamber flows set up as mid mufflers project

Alright guys this is a work in progress. I might be jumping the gun in starting this thread but I wanted to share a few vids with you guys. I am kinda getting tired of my current exhaust setup so I wanted to do something different than just an axle back change. So I found some cheap one chamber flows and started my project today of test fitting and figuring out how to get them to work as mid mufflers. Here is two videos for yalls enjoyment.
First video is with the mufflers set up as mid mufflers under the car. They have no pipes after them also.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zENbsa6k4zU
Second video is with the mufflers set up as if they were axle back mufflers with resonators welded in the pipe before the axle.

I do have LTs and cams so you will hear that also. Like stated before this is just a little project trying to be different. In the first video I know you can't really hear it but these do have a good old school type sound. I will update as I do more and let you guys know how it turns out. Of course there will be more vids to come.

I've always wanted to try glass packs with the mid muffler set-up.

I agree with the other posts, I havent seen 1 chamber flowmasters. please post up some pics of your set up if you can.

I think the first set up sound absolutely great. the second sounds very good as well.

right now I am running FRPP stingers after having flow axlebacks. your sound is exactly what I was looking for.

thanks

Sam

hey man. well my original plan didn't work on the placement on these mufflers. So after doing some thinking I think I have found a way to make them fit. I was up till 3am last night thinking about it lol. I am going to have to take it to a muffler shop for sure because I need some customs bends made. Give me some time and I will for sure update this thread. I am very excited to get something figured out. Im trying to decide between leaving the one chambers dumped before the axle. Or should I run all new pipe to the back with some axle back deletes and some nice tips. I wonder how the sound would differ.... anyway thanks for the interest and I will update soon.

I had the flowmaster 10s One chamber race mufflers on my 08 for about 2 hours before I said OMG i hate this. It sounded great at idle and at certain rpms it sounded just like a ricer. My exhaust set up is BBK LTS, BBK OR/X, was flow 10s now they are the magnaflows. I love them. Some times louder isn't always quality sound.
