Pretty cheap with free shipping. Are they going to be as loud as my 98 GT with offroad X-Pipe with 40 series flowmasters or louder? Since they are not actually mufflers will I have to put back on the stock mufflers to go in for warranty. Will the check engine light come on because of backpressure change since they are not mufflers?
What does everyone think or have? I want it to be pretty deep and loud but not annoying inside the car. I kind of like the drone my X-Pipe put out but with the SLP's is it at all RPM's or just certain RPM's or do they drone at all?
Thanks for the help.....

1. They are very loud. They don't annoy me but I see how they could to others. They drone between about 2000-2300 RPM.
2. No check engine light
3. Should not be a problem with your warrantly. My dealership thought they were great.

No, it won't void the warranty if it's after the cats (in theory)
No, the check engine light won't go off
Yes, it's the best sound you'll hear coming out of your car unless you get the entire JBA setup, couple grand.
Unfortunately, yes, there is some drone at about 2000 rpm. But it's the price you pay for deep, loud, throaty exhaust.

Sorry for all the questions and posts but I went through this same crap trying to decide the exhaust for my 98GT. :bang:
Did you notice any power increase with the SLP? I heard Flowmaster robs some HP., but I would think the SLP would breath alot better since they are not mufflers and give more HP?
Thanks again.
