I agree with everything Larry has posted. I have no idea why I have never seen any codes at all with my longtubes. Just lucky I guess. And Larry's correct I am running Magnaflow mufflers now. They just take some of the harshness out of the exhaust sound.
Actually let me make a correction here, i was able to get rid of my stuck rich code. So, the only codes i get would be the circuit slow response. I still however have my car running like garbage till it gets warm enough so the sensors read properly. Maybe i should just leave this alone but therefore i dont know if its doing longterm damage to the engine.
I've never had a problem with mine running rough, even if I did get a 'slow response' code.
Only time I had an issue with it running rough when cold, I tracked down to loose screws on my MAF. I'm running a JLT2 CAI.
Another issue I'd read about, if you have pulled your plugs & lubed w/anti-seize, sometimes too much anti-seize will foul out the plugs.
Other than that, I'm out of suggestions.
Post if you get the issue resolved.

Do you think I could bolt up my Corsa X-pipe to those?
How would those sound with a Corsa X-pipe and Axlebacks?

Don't know. But I have my car up on ramps looking for a squeaky something in the rear end when it gets cold. I can take some measurements and pictures if you want.

The OBX header and h-pipe are a slip joint type of fitting. The OBX header (on right) is 2 1/2" in dia. The H-pipe (on left) is flared to slip over the header. There is a band clamp that then goes around this joint. I have removed it so you can see better. Next the headers collectors are on a 24 1/2 " centerline where the h-pipe slides over the headers. Hope this helps alittle.

Those of you who are getting the check engine light for the o2 sensors, I have my sensors turned off as I am running an offroad x pipe. Will i get a check engine light as well with these headers? And do I need a tune after I install these

There can be a check engine light issue with any longtube setup. Personally I have been running the OBX setup for 11 months and have never had a CEL. Others will get a light and the code is usually "O2 sensor slow to warm". All it takes is for your tuner guy to add a little bit more delay in the tune and problem is solved. No big deal.
Sorry to bring up a year old post but are you still happy with the OBX headers? I am doing reserarch on different long tube headers trying to decide which way to go. Also are you having any emmision problems by not running cats?

Well I have now been running mine for a year - 1 week. Everything is still good with mine. I also know that Aircare84 is also tickled with his OBX longtubes. I don't know how to answer the emissions question though. When you are running catless you are running illegal...period. But there is no testing where I live.

Cool glad you are still happy. It seems like everybody who has actually used OBX parts are happy with them. I am not really worried about the legality of not having cats but rather how the computer in the car will react to not having them. One other thing, how much ground clearence did you lose? My car is lowered 2 inches and I dont want to be dragging every where I go.
