I plan on installing a set of 4.30 gears in my Mustang when I get it.
During the test drive I found there was a sweet spot for cruising, around 75 mph, where cabin noise from the exhaust was pretty much nonexistent. I figured the engineers had done this intentionally...
Is this effect lost when cruising at these speeds when you swap gears?

Well, I have SLP PowerFlos, plus 4.10 gears, and its not bad at 75mph. In fact, with the CD playing, I just hear music.

Cool. I'll be leaving the exhaust stock. I mean I'll be installing an X pipe. I mean an X pipe and longtube headers. I mean everything. I dunno....

Disconnect the stereo, you won't need it anymore!
