Next round of mods coming......
Well the mod bug has bitten again, so I got some more stuff coming- some go, and some show. Coming next week are:
I'll post pix of the covers & calipers when done, and driving impressions of the shorties & MGW compared to the stockers and Pro50.
- Ford Racing ceramic-coated shorties
- MGW shifter
- Blue G2 caliper paint
- Custom blue powder-coated cam covers

<sigh> Tom is killing me here. I managed to swat the bug off for a bit but it's all over me again. I got a bonus this past week and thanks to good ol' Tom , I have committed to blowing it on myself (well the car)!
A little Hijack here....what do you guys think with $700? Unless I get a really wicked idea, I am going to go with springs and the new 73mm pulley and tune for the Roushcharger. Nothing earth shattering like Tom has been doing.

Hey Gary, after reading your post, I feel kinda bad. So, I'll offer to take that bonus from you in order to help you resist the temptation.....
Seriously though, springs and a pulley/tune would be awesome! Atleast do the rear springs..... maybe just buy the Roush rears? And that pulley change is always welcome!

LOL
I have a hookup at Steeda and being they are only 15 minutes away I am going to go with the Steeda Sports all the way around since I don't have to worry about pot holes and what not down here. I'm hoping lowering it all the way around will help me fight off the wheel bug for a bit.

I got the Steeda Sport springs from Brenspeed for $205. I only installed the rears and I LOVE how it looks. I may do the front at some point. You won't be disappointed with the Sports. GOOD LUCK!!

LOL, yes I do but I use it only for business......
Really though I just look for bargains. Most of the parts on my car were purchased either on very good deals that I researched for weeks (months?) or parts that I've been lucky to stumble upon in the classifieds section. I mean if you look around, you can find great deals on used or sometimes new equipment that someone bought but decided not to install.

Well just a quick update......spent an hour in the garage last night, and almost another hour today.
Got the Pro50 removed, the H pipe dropped and removed, and the passengerside factory manifold removed. Planning to remove the factory driver's side manifold tomorrow. I should have the FRPP ceramic headers and MGW shifter by the end of the week, so hopefully I'll be back up and running on Saturday.
In the meantime, I plan to get the cam covers powdercoated this week and paint my calipers with the G2 kit since the car is already up in the air.

Nice work Tom!!
Have fun w/ the drivers side manifold! Let me know what you had to do to get it out. I'm hoping the passenger side is easier. Did you have to remove the starter or anything?

Nope, I didn't touch the starter or anything to remove the factory manifold. I don't think I'll have to do anything to install the new headers but remember that I'm doing shorties, so that has to be easier than longtubes.

I picked up my CDC classic chin spoiler for FREE!! Just checked the ads and some guy would give it to whomever would pick it up, and it wasn't too far. Granted I have to strip it and repaint.
