I Have the Titanium JBA Longtube Headers and Catted H-Pipe on mine.
I went with the Titanium ones because I found them on ebay for $767.00. I haven't seen them since at that price.
I saw the silver ones and in all honesty they look nicer than the titanium ones. Keep in mind that it's recommended you replace the engine mounts with the Steeda units to prevent the headers from knocking against the frame during cornering and hard launches.
I kept my stock mufflers on for the time being.

Cool I was wondering about the motor mounts. I got mine used and they have a divit on the passenger side. At a glance I thought they may have ball peened it to fit around something, I've sure had to do that in the past. But on closer inspection they're hard edges gouges. Nohting that's even close to going through or anything.
I had them coated myself for $200 inside and out.

I had the trumpet syndrome when I went with the offroad H-Pipe. I drove around it, but it was annoying. I got the Bassani X-Pipe with the hi flow cats, and the trumpets went away. So maybe it's the style of the cats or something since these bassani cats look similiar to the stock cats on the exterior.

Don, today I put the stock mufflers back on my car with the off road H. The trumpeting is there. much quieter, but in proportion to the rest. The stock mufflers do nothing to kill the trumpets, except make the whole thing quiet. It does sound like a 281 in a late 60s mustang now though..... but it is too quiet for me. I am seriously thinking of welding in Flowmaster 10 series, but I am short on cash and will have to live with this until payday.

You may want to consider Bassani to get rid of the trumpeting. I had magnapaks and the sounded good except for the drone. The only problem is that when I added my xpipe they sounded a little ricey and trumpeted just a little. I went to Bassani axlebacks, problem solved. The Bassanis drone a bit but they sound really good.

I'm officially going that route to start. But will be awhile as stuff has come up that requires money elsewhere right now. :bang:

I haven't officially given up on it yet, but like holeshot said, he heard trumpets. I'd still like to hear it in person before I decide. That may take some time.

Hmmm... this is the second time Bassanis have gotten a thumbs up with respect to minimal trumpets. They definitely might be another option to check out for me. So, you don't have the stock cats?

you can get the ford racing/borla axlebacks, the loud straight thru mufflers for 369 delivered from bleakley ford, these are the can shaped ones, not the big stock size looking ones.

Don, why not switch your exhaust setup AFTER the supercharger install?? It may change the tone a bit and make it a tad louder. Just a thought.

But, it's never too soon to start researching what may or may not work.

appologies in advance for getting off topic... I'm looking at the JBA set-up as well. I'm wondering which (if any) ceramic coating to get. The silver are rated as mild to severe duty and can be picked up for $700 at rpmoutlet, which is about $400 better than anywhere else I've found. The titamium are rated extreme duty and are not available at rpmoutlet, but every other vendor has them at the same price as their silver - about $1100. The titanium is supposed to have better corrosive protection, and it sounds way cooler to say <deep voice> "Titanium", but for street and strip silver is probably more than adequate, yes?

Dude thanks for the tip...I just called them up and got the Silver ceramic Headers for 699! LM Performance wants 1300 for the same part. Thanks again :worship:

I was planning on waiting until after then anyway (since that will be done this weekend). But, it's never too soon to start researching what may or may not work.

Hey, you might find out that the cure for trumpeting is forced induction
