New Tires From Nitto!

Upon searching the web, i came across new tires from nitto. Nitto NT-05.

Not sure how new they are or price, but this is my first time seeing it on there website.

Anybody had the luxury of trying these? or know of anyone who has tried them?

The Nitto site says they are a summer tire for maximum dry performance. If one has the luxury of swapping out tires for the winter, or live in a predominantly dry area, then these would be a great tire. I hate rain, but have to deal with it for at least a couple of months a year and don't want to do 360's down the highway hydroplaning into oblivion...

Jesus goin from that pic I was gonna guess that they were a 555r street slick replacement, not a summer tire. I wonder where the tread wear rating will fit between the 555 and the 555r. If it ends up being like a 555 for wear but with better grip I'd sure be interested.

Treadwear for the 555's are rated at 300
These new Nt05's are rated at 200 treadwear
The 555R's are rated at 100 treadwear

I figured as much lol. Could be a happy medium. If they don't wear out too bad I might buy a set to replace my 555's and then put full slicks on my other rear wheels instead of the 555r's...
