Hey sorry about not posting details; I was working and had to share it w/ somebody but didn't have that much time.... So:

Cam: Custom Grind (Nothing too special)
Heads: P & P and assembled by a shop down here in Miami and I don't have the Exact Specs on me but I will find where I put them and let you guys know....
Phaser Lockouts etc....

Any Specific Questions you guys have I will be more than happy to answer!!!

Hope the heads/cams upgrade work and you get the results you are looking for. I have upgraded heads/cams twice and spent thousands in the process and after seeing some achieve low 10s or better with stock heads and cams, I am starting to question the rational in such an expensive upgrade. Car is getting close to being dynotuned as this build is coming to an end and I will know more.......

I understand where you are coming from considering I have seen similar circumstances recently and if it wasn't for seeing the results for my own eyes I probably wouldn't be investing in it. Having said that I am not looking to produce some absurd dyno number, I want my results to show on the track. Also, the Stock heads / cams are great but I don't want to go FI so this was a step in the right direction... IMHO

Good for you for having ET goals. This is the first time, with this build (gome through a few) that we have paid some real attention to weight reduction and distribution. After blowing stuff up over time with this car, trying make the thing last a while...lol

Much appreciated... I'm not going to lie though it would be nice to see good numbers but if I don't thats ok; AS LONG AS THERE IS A NOTICEABLE GAIN ON THE TRACK.... I will def. let you guys know what the #'s are when the install is finished but it is the Track times that I am really looking forward to...

Btw, blowing stuff up isn't the best way too approach modding!!! Hahaha JK

Now you tell me...lol. We've cracked open the oil pump, shredded the trutrac, blown headgaskets, and twisted pistons. The 4r70w always held strong though. Hoping the glide will perform as well. My mechanic keeps telling me....you have to crack eggs to make an omelette and I keep reminding myself what an insanely expensive omelette this is

You're right, some anecdotal reports aren't showing that head/cam upgrades adding the expected leap in top end power--I think the bottom end needs to be matched as well to get the most out of the motor. I was all set to send an extra set of heads to Fox Lake for P&P, but instead am just upgrading the cam from COMP 127500s (from the early grind 127300). On the track we're seeing folks make .3 improvements in track times, as the power curve is extended beyond 6500rpm. I know of two people that have gone into the 11s NA easily with just this upgrade.

Pike2244, I'll be very interested to see your before and after dynos. Have you raced the car prior to the install?
